Len Al Haas, CFRE

Len Al is founder and president of Haas Consulting. For more than 20 years, he has provided fundraising, planning and tech­nology con­sult­ing services for non­profits ranging from social service and health­care organizations to educa­tional institutions and profes­sional associa­tions.

An active community volunteer for two decades, Len Al co-found­ed and served as chairman of the board of directors of TECH CORPS Georgia. He also served on the board of directors of The Study Hall at Emmaus House and the board of St. Martin’s Episcopal School. He is a past president of the Greater Atlanta Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, and he serves annually on the steering committee for the organization’s National Philanthropy Day. He currently serves on the advisory board of the Foundation Center – Atlanta. He is a frequent conference presenter whose topics include fund­rais­ing and technology.

Len Al began his career working in development and alumni affairs at Georgia State University, and later served as a consultant with a large Atlanta-based firm and as development director for Hillside Hospital.

Len Al has managed successful annual and capital campaigns with goals up to $10 million. He is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) with a B.A. in Economics from the University of Vermont and an M.B.A. from Georgia State University. He also taught math and economics as a Peace Corps volunteer in West Africa.

Jim Behning

Jim has 18 years of broad experience in implementing and supporting technology systems, including the Microsoft Windows Small Business Server. Jim was named Microsoft MVP in 2003. Since joining Haas Consulting in 1998, Jim has expanded his areas of expertise to include troubleshooting and maintaining PCs and local area networks (LANs). Additional areas of expertise include wide area network support, Internet connectivity and mobile device solutions for Blackberry and Treo, both Windows and Palm OS.

Before joining Haas Consulting, Jim was the Assistant Director of Operations for SciTrek, a science & technology museum. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Kent State University.

David Dreger

David Dreger portrait

David has more than 20 years experience as an information technolo­gy consultant for Atlanta businesses and nonprofits. As a member of the Haas Consulting team, he provides all aspects of desk­top and network support for clients using Microsoft Win­dows sys­tems. He is an expert trainer and is known for his ability to understand and provide the level of support required by each end user.

Another area of expertise is support and training on handheld and mobile devices, including the Blackberry, iPhone, and Treo. David calls this his developing area of expertise because of the rapid rate of change for these devices.

David also offers website project management. Working with developers, he helps clients identify their needs and translate them into successful websites.

Before coming to Haas Consulting, David worked for the South­ern Regional Council and the Southern Education Foun­da­tion.
